About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our school and institutional partnerships across India, based in Delhi NCR with national travel.
Experience selling education programmes, study-abroad services, or K-12 solutions to school owners and principals.
Familiarity with Indian school group structures (chains, trusts, international schools, CBSE/ICSE/IB segments).
Exposure to high-ticket consultative sales (₹2–15L programme fees).
Comfort presenting to school leadership, trustees, and parent audiences.
Familiarity with CRM-based pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities
You will sign the school partnerships that fill our student cohorts.
Build and work a pipeline of school groups, international schools, and educational trusts for summer schools, STEM programmes, and educator training cohorts.
Pitch principals, directors, and trustees; run parent orientation sessions that convert enrolments.
Structure institutional deals — group cohorts, educator delegations, multi-year partnerships.
Own targets on cohort fill rates and partnership revenue.
Represent GEL at school leadership conferences and education fairs.
Coordinate with programme delivery on cohort logistics and client expectations.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate sells trust and transformation to education decision-makers.
Graduate degree; MBA a plus.
4–7 years in education sales, study-abroad, ed-services, or institutional partnerships.
Track record closing high-ticket education deals with schools or institutions.
Excellent English and Hindi presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network among Indian school chains and international schools.
Experience selling international/university-linked programmes.
Familiarity with UK/US education ecosystems.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary of ₹9,00,000–₹14,00,000 plus performance incentives.
