Company Overview
Foodbud's food intelligence goes beyond restaurants — our platform serves ingredient manufacturers, grocery stores, recipe providers, and health and nutrition platforms. Our NutriLabel engine turns recipes and products into structured allergen, dietary, and nutrition data at scale.
About the Role
We are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Manager to sell Foodbud's data and labeling capabilities to US food companies and health platforms, working remotely.
Experience selling data, SaaS, or API products to CPG, grocery, foodservice, or health/wellness companies.
Familiarity with enterprise buying: pilots, procurement, security review, legal.
Exposure to food industry data needs — labeling, allergen management, nutrition databases, personalization.
Understanding of US labeling regulation (FDA Nutrition Facts, FALCPA/FASTER Act big-9 allergens).
Comfort selling API/embedded solutions alongside dashboard products.
Key Responsibilities
You will open Foodbud's highest-ACV revenue lines in the US.
Build pipeline across four segments: food/ingredient manufacturers, grocery chains, recipe/meal-kit platforms, and health/nutrition apps.
Sell NutriLabel and food-intelligence APIs — automated labeling, allergen detection, dietary tagging — into product and compliance teams.
Structure enterprise pilots with clear success metrics; navigate procurement to annual contracts.
Develop partnership motions with health platforms embedding our data (nutrition apps, dietitian tools, employer wellness).
Own commercial negotiation, pricing strategy input, and forecast discipline.
Represent Foodbud at US food-tech and nutrition industry events.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate sells complex data products to serious food-industry buyers.
Bachelor's degree; food science or nutrition background a plus.
5–8 years in enterprise B2B sales with data, SaaS, or API products.
Track record closing $75K+ ACV enterprise deals through pilots and procurement.
Strong technical fluency to sell API integrations credibly.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships in CPG, grocery, or health-platform ecosystems.
Experience selling nutrition, labeling, or food-safety solutions.
Familiarity with competitors and adjacent players (Nutritionix-style databases, labeling software).
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $100,000–$130,000 with uncapped commission (OTE $170,000–$210,000) plus early equity.
Health insurance stipend.
Founding ownership of the enterprise revenue line.
