We are looking for a GenAI Engineer to build production AI systems for clients and contribute to our in-house products like BotFriday AI, working remotely across India.
Exposure to multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and their APIs.
Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, Weaviate).
Experience with prompt engineering and structured output patterns.
Exposure to agent frameworks and tool-calling architectures.
Familiarity with model evaluation and LLM observability tooling.
Knowledge of Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
You will design, build, and ship GenAI features from proof-of-concept to production for client engagements.
Build LLM-powered applications in Python — chatbots, document intelligence, workflow automation — using OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini APIs.
Design and implement RAG pipelines: chunking strategies, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality tuning.
Implement guardrails, evaluation harnesses, and cost/latency optimization for production AI systems.
Architect agentic workflows with tool calling, structured outputs, and error handling.
Integrate AI features into client applications and existing business systems.
Prototype rapidly in the Product Lab, then harden winning ideas for production.
The ideal candidate has shipped real LLM applications, not just experimented with notebooks.
B.Tech/B.E, MCA, or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
2–4 years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year building LLM-based applications in production.
Strong Python skills and API integration experience.
Solid understanding of RAG architecture and its failure modes.
Experience fine-tuning or evaluating open-weight models.
Experience with voice AI (STT/TTS pipelines, real-time agents).
Contributions to AI open-source projects or published technical writing.
